As the saying goes, cleanliness is next to godliness. Your personal hygiene, and cleanliness of your home, is important. According to Vastu Shastra, small rituals like washing your hands and feet after coming home from outside and keeping your home dust-free helps in improving health.


Decluttering has been scientifically proven to have a direct correlation to positivity. So, place things back where they belong as soon as you’re done using them, do away with things that you haven’t used for more than a year, and keep your wardrobe and other cupboards sorted and neat.


Fire is said to be a cosmic cleaner. It does not necessarily mean burning an actual fire in your home, although lighting earthen or silver lamps is recommended. Keeping the lights lit in your home when dark and keeping incense sticks lit for their soothing smell helps.
